My 13 year old daughter says Shakia is authentic, responsive, and caring. Thus she listens.

My daughter found Shakita to be authentic, responsive and caring thus she listens to her! Which helped facilitate communication between me and my daughter. The course utilizes a variety of technology to connect with the teens in way teens are excited about. As parents, we must educate and arm our children with tools to find their way in this overwhelming, confusing world we live in.

Shakita is very professional and dedicated to enhancing the lives of teens.

As an educator I understand the value of teaching teens about issues regarding dating relationships, sexual health, and internet safety. I am also the mother of three children. My oldest daughter is a teenager. Beyond The Talk is an informative reminder that health and sex topics should start early and be ongoing. Shakita provides current data and trends to keep parents awared of what our teens may be facing on a daily basis. I reccomend this course for all middle and high school students.

Significance Educational Resources

Today our children are growing up faster and being exposed to more and more.

Shakita created a step by step, discussion based curriculum that addresses ethical rights, legal consequences, and a guide to appropriate social media interaction. She brought up many topics I would have not thought to broach, mainly because they were not even an issue when I was a teen. Today our children are growing up faster and being exposed to more and more, making this current tool to prepare our teens invaluable. I am dedicated to homeschooling my six children and would reccomend this program.

How it's different...

Beyond "the talk" is a 5 module course taught live online and goes beyond the simple anatomy and physiology of traditional health course.

In this course students learn how to identify emotional and cyber dating violence, mental abuse, consent. Then students learn the psychology behind social media "likes." understand the concept of shame resilience, and bystander intervention.

Each module is designed to educate and engage students with real life situations and give them practical skills that they can apply to everyday life.

This program tackles tough topics and fosters healthy conversations. It challenges students to live a life that is safe, honors God, and prepares them for the future.

We have two beautiful daughters who are 11 and 15 that have been homeschooled for almost 7 years.  As parents of girls we were unsure of when and how to have discussions with our daughters about sex, relationships, and even online safety.  This program removed the uncertainty and created opportunities for conversations that quite frankly I would have never had. Shame Undone does an excellent job presenting relevant information in a non threatening way and empowers students and parents to sit down and have life changing conversations!
